Local 8 Perch Tournament Update

On Saturday, September 9, teams took to Lake Erie in a effort to win the 13th Annual Local 8 Perch Tournament.  Ten boats made way Saturday morning despite the cold temperatures and rough water.  While some we able to get out and fish early, others weren't so lucky. After a long day of getting beat up by the waves, everyone returned safely to the hall for weigh in. The fish were tallied and the results showed that this years tournament champions were the Drifters with a haul of 13 lbs. 6 oz. The Drifters are (pictured above) Brothers Jim Winterfeld, Rob Cousino (Captain), Lee Blakeman and  Butch Boulton.  A big thank you to everyone who participated and volunteered this year; without any of you this event wouldn't be possible. Have a safe off season and we'll see you all next year.
