IBEW Bowling Tournament

The 66th Annual IBEW Bowling Tournament is set for May 21 - 23, 2010, with Local 683, Columbus as the host.  The tournament location is the Columbus Square Bowling Palace, 5707 Forest Hills Blvd., Columbus, OH, (614) 895-1122.

The host hotel is the Crowne Plaza, Columbus North, 6500 Doubletree Ave., Columbus, OH, (614) 885-1885.  When making hotel reservations, be sure to tell them you are with the IBEW Bowling Group to get the discounted rate.  Room reservation cut off is May 4, 2010 at 5:00 pm.

Local 8 Softball Team Golf Outing Fundraiser Info


 This year’s softball team fundraiser golf outing will be held on Saturday, May 22 at the Legacy Golf Course.  Registration starts at 8:00 am, and shotgun start begins at 9:00 am.  This will be a 4 man scramble format.
The cost is $85 per person, and includes range balls, a cart and dinner.  Contact Steve Buescher at 419-467-9154 or Derek Ruckman 419-350-3413 no later than May 7 to sign up.

It is suggested that you mail the application at least one week prior to the deadline.  An admission card will be mailed to you approximately 10 days prior to the date you are schedule for examination.  Test dates and locations are subject to change. Labor Day 2009 Celebration

We had a great turnout for our annual Labor Day celebration.  Thank you to everyone who Mayched in the parade and came to the picnic.  A special thanks to the Entertainment Committee and all the volunteers who helped to make the day a success!
