Local 8 members serve on a wide range of joint committees and delegate bodies to monitor and shape the wages, benefits, training and working conditions of every member of the Local. These delegates are appointed or elected to represent the membership with skill and integrity.

Women’s Committee

The IBEW Local 8 Women’s Committee is committed to setting goals that support our union and enrich our local community. A strong Women’s Committee helps to strengthen, engage and retain Sisters through support, education and fostering relationships — expanding membership, promoting leadership and supporting our Local Union.
