ABOUT IBEW LOCAL 8
As a chartered Local Union of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, one of the largest and most respected building trades unions in North America, Local 8 is built on a foundation of worker solidarity, craft excellence and community investment. Our members power homes, businesses, schools, hospitals and industrial facilities throughout the region — and they do it with the training, wages and benefits that only union membership delivers.
We are more than a Union Hall. We are a Brotherhood and Sisterhood of craft professionals committed to raising the standard of living for electrical workers and their families. Through strong Collective Bargaining Agreements, world-class apprenticeship training at the Toledo Electrical JATC and an active political voice in Toledo, Columbus and Washington, D.C., Local 8 fights every day to protect the rights, safety and futures of our members.

OUR JURISDICTION
15 COUNTIES. ONE BROTHERHOOD.
Local 8 holds jurisdiction across 12 counties in Ohio and three counties in lower Michigan.
Ohio Counties: Lucas, Wood, Henry, Fulton, Williams, Defiance, Paulding, Putnam, Hancock, Seneca, Ottawa, and Sandusky.
Michigan Counties: Hillsdale, Lenawee, and Monroe.
Our main Union Hall is in Rossford, Ohio, with unit meetings held throughout our jurisdiction in Adrian, Michigan; Defiance, Ohio; and the Findlay/Fremont area.
