The IBEW Pension Benefit Fund (PBF) is available to "A" members of the IBEW.

Members may be eligible for:

• Normal Retirement - age 65 or older
• Early Retirement - age 62-64
• Disability Retirement
• Vesting Retirement
• Optional Spousal Benefit

Members can log onto the Pension Benefit Fund website to verify their pension eligibility - http://www.ibew.org/Pension-Reciprocity

However, pension applications must be presented to the membership for approval. Therefore, members are encouraged to contact Don in the Local 8 Business Office at 419-666-8920 so that he can assist you with the paperwork and retain a copy in your personnel file. If your situation changes in the future or you have questions, Don can address the changes/issues with the Pension Benefit Fund on your behalf.

Keep in mind, pension applications may take up to 90 days to process, so please schedule your appointment in advance.
